The Golconda Fort is a multi-layered fort that dates back to the Kakatiya and Qutb Shahi dynasties. There have been rumours about secret tunnels and passages connecting the fort to various parts of Hyderabad including Charminar, Goshamahal, Chowmahalla Palace and Naubat Pahad.
