EU gas reserves 65% full as Brussels says winter needs can be met

Gas storage facilities across the European Union are currently 65% full, while the European Commission sees no reason for concern over preparations for the coming winter, Commission spokesperson Anna-Kaisa Itkonen said on Sept. 2.
