As John Skelton’s preliminary examination entered its fourth day of testimony Thursday, Aug. 27, witnesses testified Skelton had a history of problematic drinking and once killed the family dog. Testimony also revealed Skelton’s cell photo went “off the grid” for nearly two hours leading up to the boys’ disappearance.
