US military says it has destroyed 5 Iranian oil tankers after missile attacks on Navy warship

The U.S. military destroyed five Iranian oil tankers in response to Iranian efforts to hit a U.S. warship with ballistic missiles over the past two days, U.S. Central Command said in a social media post on Tuesday.
