The National Investigation Agency (NIA) did not include sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in the chargesheet against US national Matthew VanDyke. Additionally, six Ukrainian nationals were arrested in March 2026 for illegal entry into Myanmar.
