KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv on Sunday in their first official visit to Ukraine as part of a renewed push for peace more than 4½ years after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The envoys are shuttling between Russian and Ukrainian leadership to negotiate terms for ending active fighting, a shift in US diplomatic posture toward the war.
